Sara Haines Weight Management 2022: Diet, Workout, Before

The famous American TV personality, Sara Haines, has always entertained the viewers with her unique talent. She has been successful in her career.

Haines married Max Shifrin and everything is going perfectly. However, there was one aspect of Haines’ life that needed improvement. Her health life.

Sara had struggled with obesity in past. Sara’s weight became a real problem during her pregnancy. As she is the mother of 3 children, she has faced a lot of struggles in this respect.

But in 2019 when she was pregnant with her youngest kid, Haines finally decided to put an end to this. She finally decided to overcome obesity.

When Haines was pregnant with her youngest son, Caleb Joseph, in the year 2019, she was struggling with weight. Her weight shoot very high and within weeks Haines reached a very unhealthy condition.

Now, gaining weight during pregnancy is totally normal but in Sara’s case, certain things were different.

As mentioned earlier Haines has always struggled with obesity and when she got pregnant her weight doubled. So the increase in weight was not entirely because of pregnancy.

After pregnancy, Sara embarked on the journey of weight loss. She said, “I wanted to fix it once and for all”. Fans were going mad when she finally came in public. It was very different to see the new Sara in perfect shape. Her method of weight loss is very healthy and quite impressive.

Haines worked on her eating habits. She gave up unhealthy food and substituted it with healthy food. Haines also developed a habit of working out daily. Sara’s diet and workout plan are discussed in detail below:

Diet Plan

Before starting the weight loss journey, Sara would consume a lot of unhealthy food. She knew and also emphasized the importance of healthy eating. However, she couldn’t follow it. In fact, Sara knew what was better for her, however, she didn’t know how she should do it.

After searching about plenty of weight loss methods, Haines came over Paleo diet. She found it very interesting and easy to follow.

The Paleo diet is a combination of food that human beings ate by hunting and gathering before the Agriculture revolution. Approximately 10,000 years ago.

A Paleo Diet includes fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, lean meats, and seeds. Sara avoided the consumption of grains as much as possible. With all this healthy eating, Haines soon overcame obesity and positively transformed her body.

The famous actor from the Shameless show, Steve Howey, is well known for his great physique.

However, this is not the way he has always been. Howey has seen a lot of ups and downs in respect of his health. When his former show, Reba ended, Steve gave up taking care of his health.

As result, he gained extra pounds and ended up being obese. Because of his weight, the actor also suffered vertebrae. However, he had to get in shape when he was cast in Shameless. Not only for the show but for the sake of his health as well.

Steve Procrastinated to Lose Weight

Procrastination was one of the main hindrances in overcoming obesity. In his interview with Men’s Health, Howey said, “Not many of the comedians I look up to are in great shape. So I made the justification that it’s okay that I am overweight” .

However, with the passage of time, Steve realized that if he wanted to live his best life he had to lose weight. In the same interview, Howey said, “Who cares you are funny or not when you are dying?” And with that realization, Steve finally started his weight loss journey.

Steve gave the same importance to his diet plan as he gave to working out. Losing weight is nothing more than controlling your eating habits and burning calories.

Retta (Marietta Sangai Sirleaf) is a famous American stand-up comedian. She shares happiness with her hilarious jokes. When you look at her, she represents a bright and happy soul. However, that’s not the way Retta has always been.

There were several factors that were feeding Mixon’s weight. One of them was his habit of overeating. Not just overeating but also binge eating.

Jerod had a habit of eating a lot even when it was not the time. He was in love with fast food. Whenever he drove by fast-food restaurants, he made sure to grab burgers or pizza every single time. Mixon was also fond of drinking.

So in order to build healthy habits, you’ll have to destroy the old and unhealthy ones. You can imagine it wasn’t an easy task.

Mixon’s habits were simply his repeated behaviours for years. It was really hard for him to resist the temptation. But Jerod knew that he had to do it. And there was no one who could help him in fighting this problem but only himself.

So with the passage of time, Jerod gave up fast food and substituted it with healthy food. Whereat one time he had pizza for lunch, now he was eating green veggie salad. He would eat food rich in protein, such as chicken, eggs, Greek yogurt, etc.

Jerod also overcame his drinking habit and substituted alcohol with fresh fruit juice which helped him in retaining his energy the whole day to exercise. Most of the time, Jerod would choose a green salad for lunch and dinner.

Workout Plan

Mixon knew that only maintaining his diet would not be enough. He had to move his body and do some work out as well.

For this purpose, Mixon joined a gym. He described the experience as “At first it looked very crazy. I didn’t know how to start” That was because Jerod went to the gym after a very long time.

However, with the passage of time, he became familiar with the environment. Jerod would do weight lifting, boxing, and cycling at the gym. With all this heavy exercise, he burned calories quickly and within months ended up losing 300 lbs.

Jonathan Antoine Weight Management: Diet, Workout, Before and also After

Jonathan is an English classical tenor. He is famous for his magical voice and talent. Antoine rose to fame after appearing in the sixth season of Britain’s Got Talent. He, and his singing partner, Charlotte Jaconelli, ended up as runner-ups in the show.

Jonathan later went solo and released his debut album, Tenore. So far, he has released three albums and all of them are hits.

Today, Antoine is a celebrity and a big artist. However, things haven’t always been this way. Jonathan said that the show saved him from depression.

Jonathan’s Struggle With Depression

“I was in a really bad place mentally at that time,” Antoine talked about his depression and his audition for the show. “I’ve said many a time it saved me. It took me out of the situation I was in and put me into a different place.”

At the time BGT contacted Jonathan, he was struggling with depression and anxiety. He said that he didn’t see any light in his future and was pessimistic about it. But his audition changed it all. It exposed him to better opportunities. Right after the show ended, Jonathan was contacted by the record company, Syco, and was offered a £1 million deal.

“I’m able to live this best life now because of what amounts to one Blackberry message 10 years ago,” Antoine said. “It’s crazy how tiny little things bloom into these wild experiences.”

Jonathan’s Struggle With Obesity

Well, depression wasn’t the only thing that Antoine had to deal with. Obesity was there as well. Those of you, who’ve been following him since the show know that Antoine was overweight when he appeared on the show. It might be that Jonathan’s depression was a by-product of his being overweight.

Fast forward 10 years and Jonathan is completely unrecognizable. He has lost 4 stone (56 pounds). By doing that, Antoine has completely transformed his physique and life. He is now in way better health and shape than before. So, how did he do that?

Jonathan Antoine’s Weight Loss Journey

“I feel stronger and healthier than I have in 10 years, which is a lot,” Antoine talked about his weight loss. “I’ve still got a lot to lose but I’m making my way.” In order to shed pounds, Antoine made some major changes to his diet plan.

He took a 180-degree turn on his diet plan, which proved to be a very healthy choice. Along with that, Antoine also exercised a lot. Although it wasn’t in the gym, it was still a very big change in his daily routine.

Jonathan’s Diet Plan

In order to lose weight, Jonathan gave up one thing that he loved the most, American fast food. “This year, I’ve made an active choice. I’ve felt I’ve lacked discipline a lot,” he said. “When I was out in America, fast food was everywhere and I couldn’t hold myself.

“I was in a terrible state at the start of the year but I’ve been able to step down and change my diet.” As of now, Antoine’s diet consists mostly of vegetables and fruits. He has also limited his meat consumption and eats only lean meat. 

Jonathan also gave up Alcohol for a better part of the year and it paid off in a very great way. He started drinking more water. Although he couldn’t give up American fast food completely, a pizza in a week isn’t a big deal given Jonathan’s working out routine.

Jonathan’s Workout Plan

To burn calories, Antoine established a workout routine. By following this, he would burn 400 to 500 calories every day. The main reason behind Jonathan’s success in his weight loss journey was the 10,000 steps that he did every day.

Walking is a very efficient way to lose weight and he did just that. Although there wasn’t any weight lifting or push-ups included, Antoine succeeded in his goal. And he has proved that one can lose weight if one is committed to it even without gymming.

Before & After Weight Loss

After undergoing the weight loss journey, Jonathan has brought a huge change in his appearance. By maintaining a healthy diet and exercising on a daily basis, he succeeded in shedding 56 pounds. Antoine’s current weight is 240 pounds as compared to his old weight of 296 pounds.

Jonathan’s Comment On His Transformation

Jonathan is very happy about the fact that he succeeded in transforming his physique. “For a very long time, I was just experiencing life, letting life live me, trying to find the next pleasure,” he said. “Taking control of your own life and seizing your world with your own hands is very gratifying.”

And Jonathan isn’t done with weight loss yet. He is planning to lose more weight. And for that purpose, he has kept following the healthy lifestyle that he followed for weight loss. We hope that Antoine succeeds in achieving what he wants to.

5 Foods That Could be Zapping Your Energy

So what are the foods that make you tired? Since fatigue can be a weight loss plan killer—not to mention an obstacle to getting out to exercise—be aware of these energy vampires lurking in your kitchen and pantry:

1. White Bread

That’s the stand-in for refined carbohydrate foods.  You probably blame your Thanksgiving lethargy on the turkey you ate because of its tryptophan, an essential amino acid that can help make you sleepy. The turkey is pleading not guilty. The real culprit is all those side dishes.

A meal that’s high in starchy/sugary carbohydrates has been shown in studies to induce fatigue within 30 minutes after you consume it! Processed carbs such as white bread, rice, crackers and sugary products (like breakfast cereal, pastries, cookies, cake and pie), may give you a quick burst of energy. However, research shows that your alertness starts to fade within an hour. If you’ve ever experienced a sugar high, you know it’s usually followed by a sugar crash. Whenever possible, try subbing out your refined carbohydrates with some SmartCarbs to avoid that post-meal tired feeling.

What? Your favorite eye-opener? Don’t worry. It’s fine to turn to coffee—or another caffeinated drink—to keep your eyelids from drooping during the day. But only in moderation. Coffee and caffeine-containing foods and drinks can give you a burst of energy and alertness when you need it, but they can actually make you feel more tired after the effects wear off.

For one thing, caffeine can keep you from sleeping at night when you really need the Zzs. Then, there are the chemical effects on your body (yes, caffeine is a chemical and only one of many in coffee). According to Sleep Foundation, coffee helps you stay awake in part by blocking your body’s receptors for adenosine, a chemical that triggers sleepiness. The problem is that your body tries to compensate by making you more sensitive to adenosine, so instead of feeling alert after a cup of coffee, you feel fatigued.

Coffee can also make you slightly dehydrated, which also causes fatigue. And drinks like coffee can be a hidden source of added sugar if you take your cup of joe sweet. That means you can have both a sugar and caffeine crash at the same time.

3. Alcohol

No surprise here: Alcohol depresses the central nervous system, acting just like a sedative. It’s tempting to have a drink before bedtime to help you sleep. But like caffeine, alcohol has an “evil” side.

While it may help you slip into a peaceful slumber, a few hours after you drink, the alcohol raises levels of a hormone called epinephrine. You may know it by its other name: adrenalin, frequently known for its “rush.” This stress hormone can increase your heart rate and stimulate your body to wake up. The additional liquids may also make you need to get up to use the bathroom after having an alcoholic drink at night. Those night-time wakeups may make you feel sleepy the next day.

Not to single out this iconic American meal, but its high fat content (over 60 grams of fat in one well-known eat-in restaurant) makes it a real energy killer. According to research, published in the journal Nutrients, diets high in fat like this meal were linked to increased daytime sleepiness and problems sleeping at night in a study of 1,800 Australian men. All it took to promote fatigue was eating 138 grams of fat per day (note that this one popular burger meal is about halfway there).

There may be many reasons for this result. One: A high-fat diet is associated with runaway inflammation in the body which itself can cause fatigue. Studies have also linked eating a high-glycemic index diet (think carbs and sugar) to inflammation.

5. Fried Fast Food

Though trans fat (hydrogenated oil) has been removed from most food products because of its link to inflammation and cardiovascular disease, there’s still a little bit in some foods, particularly restaurant fried foods and sweets such as donuts. That’s because high cooking temperatures and oil that’s reheated for cooking (think restaurant and bakery fryers) both produce more trans fats. More trans fats equals more inflammation, which equals fatigue, just one of the byproducts of this unhealthy fat.

Famous actress Akbar V from ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ has gone through an incredible weight loss journey. She also shared her weight loss journey on social media for her fans.

Akbar V is very transparent about her journey. She shared all the difficulties she had gone through and the results, she enjoyed after those difficult periods.

Akbar V’s living a happy life and doing a lot of great things. But at some point, she didn’t feel right about her health.

She wanted to improve her health and to get some new opportunities in life. Akbar did her research on how to lose weight. After discussing it with a lot of her friends she decides to have gastric sleeve surgery. 

Akbar was a little bit afraid of having surgery. But she choose an expert doctor which was recommended by a lot of her friends. Then she scheduled the day with her doctor and discussed the surgery process.

After doing a lot of research She was finally ready for the gastric sleeve surgery. In gastric sleeve surgery, they cut down some parts of your stomach and it will make you less hungry.

After having a smaller stomach eating habits also change. So now she was eating less food than before and because of this, she lost a lot of weight. 

Diet Plan

Akbar V didn’t talk about her diet plan publicly. She followed a diet that was planned by her doctors. And that helps her to boost the recovery process. Currently, she is not following any diet plan. She is just focusing on not eating any fast food and soda drinks a lot.  

Workout Plan

After her surgeries, it was very difficult for her to move around effectively. She didn’t try any kind of workout at that time. But she was just walking around slowly sometimes to keep her body healthy and running.

Yes, After her gastric sleeve surgery she had two more surgery to fully recovered. So she had a tummy tuck and she said there was a lot of pain in aftercare. Akbar was taking a lot of painkillers and medicine which was recommended by the doctors to recover fully.

Before starting her weight loss journey her weight was 297 pounds and after going through all the process now her weight is 191 pounds. Akbar lost 106 pounds of weight.

Platt received a lot of accolades at a very young age. He is the youngest solo recipient of the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. Ben is famous for his acting and singing talents. However, there is another reason for which Ben has been rocking on the news.

That reason is his perfect physique. Platt has been in a good shape since he began his career, however, there are some further developments in his health, that have helped him in reaching a lot of people and make new fans. He started his weight loss journey when he was cast in the new Netflix show, The Politician.

Ben had to play the role of a high school young, confidant, sharp, brilliant, rich, handsome student.

Even though he was in a good physique when he was selected for the role but Platt thought to bring it to another level. So, he embarked on the journey to lose weight.

Ben lost weight by doing a lot of hard work. He joined his buddy, Johnson, to get help in weight loss. Platt joined the gym along with his friend, Johnson.

They would visit the gym six days a week. This consistency proved to be a very healthy factor in his weight loss.

Ben would do workouts for 1 to 2 hours on the daily basis. His workout routine included all kinds of cardio. Platt performed from pushups, burpees, jumping jacks, reverse crunches, and weight lifting to plank. He performed each workout for 15 minutes.

Platt also took complete care of his diet as well. He started recording what would he eat on the daily basis. He drafted a complete diet plan. His eating routine was as follows:

For breakfast, Platt would have Juice, Salad, Oatmeal, and Egg white omelette. For lunch, he would have a combination of Veggies and Chicken. And for dinner, Ben would eat light food such as salad.
